The Black Ants

The Black Ants

It is very late at night or rather it's midnight and I went to the kitchen to drink a glass of water.

At this time I observed many things such as :

The kitchen platform which is always very full of utensils, dishes, food etc. Is at this hour very neat, clean and not many utensils on the platform.

Pressure cooker is standstill which normally whistles a lot.

Gas burners have gone to sleep which are normally on fire.

The tap water is too taking a sound sleep which normally loves to dance on its flow. Hence overall a very silent sight of the kitchen.

However, to my sight the only creature working at this time was the ants - THE BLACK ANTS.

They caught my attention on the window pane. These little tiny creature were moving to and fro in such a speed, Oh God! What to say! I guess it was their peak hour. The sliding grill of the window which is so thin acted like a highway for them. Just like we see people moving on the roads in the morning. 

An Ant comes and says something to another ant which is going in the opposite direction,then suddenly both of them start following the same path. I was amazed to see their way of communication. Many things came up my mind at that point of time such as : are these Ants related to each other? Or they may good friends suddenly meeting after a long time. Are they office buddies? This time a thought just passed my mind, the way I was sitting n looking at them while they struggle for their being similarly God must be looking at us n smiling for our thoughts, actions, behaviour, emotions, efforts, etc.

Finally I gave them a pinch of sugar and before the Ants could gather around the sugar it took them a lot of time to actually put in the efforts to achieve their goal. The sugar was right in front of them but it took them a while to reach it. How fool was I trying to take take the sugar closer to them not realising that they were getting scared. Then I waited for some time and saw them coming close to it. With a feeling of bliss I could see them achieve their goal.

God gives sugar in front of us but we, like wanderers travel here n there in search of it. Which means that God is always giving us the things which we desire, God makes our life simple, it is we who have to be aware of it so as to move ahead on our life path.

So people keep moving towards a sweet life....

Today I felt very nice after writing. This is after seven years that I have started writing again.

Wow what a timing !
